‘Vanderpump Rules’ Jax Taylor Makes Massive Custody Error

Custody battles are often incredibly heartbreaking to deal with. Whether you’re a celebrity or an average individual, facing a custody battle can be devastating. Jax Taylor made a name for himself on Vanderpump Rules, and he’s now currently dealing with the heart-wrenching results of a clerical error he made on court documents in the midst of his custody battle. These are the details.

Jax Taylor’s Custody Battle Mistake

Things are not looking good for Jax right now when it comes to his ability to spend time with his three-year-old son, Cruz. He filed court documents with errors on them, and that automatically gave his estranged ex, Brittany Cartwright, full custody of their kid. This clerical mistake obviously created serious consequences. A representative for the reality TV star told Page Six, “While Jax made errors in filling out forms that are usually done by trained legal professionals, those errors will be amended without delay.”

One other detail that adds an extra layer of confusion to this whole ordeal? Jax and Brittany never legally married. Back in 2019, the ex-couple had a wedding ceremony in Kentucky. But it turns out they didn’t actually tie the knot according to the law. Cruz was born a couple years later in 2021. Beyond all this drama, Jax has been pretty forthright with details about his mental health status with everything going on.

Details About Jax Taylor’s Mental Health

Jax revealed that doctors diagnosed him with PTSD and bipolar disorder after he checked himself into a mental health facility in July. On an episode of the When Reality Hits podcast from last September, he also noted that he’s considered a textbook “narcissist.” Thanks to TikTok And other social media platforms, more people than ever are uncovering details about what it means to be a narcissist or have a narcissist in your life.

The personality disorder isn’t always easy to call out. However, it’s usually revealed in people who inflate their own sense of importance. It is also depicted in folks who struggle to empathize with others in common circumstances when empathy should come naturally. So, will a judge allow Jax to re-file his court documents? Jax’s rep said that they would soon amend the errors. One thing we do know is that Jax and Brittany have both spoken publicly about their desire to co-parent peacefully. In March, Brittany told E! News:

“The truth is that we have just been fighting and not on the same page for a while now. And it was just becoming a negative space in our own house. I just don’t want that for our son. I don’t want him growing up thinking it’s normal to live like that.”

Instead of fighting against each other under the same roof, the co-parenting route allowed them to keep things a lot more calm. What do you think of all this drama for Jax Taylor? Let us know in the comment section below.
