Prince William accept to stand by King Charles as he demands for the return of prince Harry to UK

Despite ongoing disagreements between Prince William and Prince Harry, William reportedly will not challenge any significant decisions made by King Charles III regarding his younger brother. Royal expert Hilary Fordwich shared this insight during an interview with Fox News, which was subsequently reported by the *New York Post*. According to Fordwich, King Charles still hopes to reconnect with Harry, often referring to him as his “darling boy.” This sentiment contrasts with Prince William’s deep resentment towards Harry, stemming from what he perceives as Harry’s “despicable indiscretions.”

Fordwich highlighted that while King Charles might be willing to extend an olive branch, Prince William has taken on the role of the family enforcer, maintaining a firm distance from his brother. William’s lack of trust in Harry continues to be a significant barrier, especially following the release of Harry’s memoir, *Spare*, and the Netflix series that further strained their relationship. William reportedly refuses to communicate with Harry and remains steadfast in this position, regardless of Charles’s continued optimism about reestablishing contact.

Prince Harry is set to return to the UK for the 2024 WellChild Awards, scheduled for September 30th. This event, which honors the inspirational qualities of young people and their caregivers who support seriously ill children and their families, is a regular part of Harry’s annual commitments. However, during this visit, he has no plans to meet with King Charles or Prince William, echoing their previous encounters, such as when Harry visited in May for a commemorative service related to his Invictus Games. During that event, the brothers reportedly avoided each other, sitting apart with different groups of their cousins.

Sources indicate that both Charles and William have been unresponsive to Harry’s attempts to reach out through calls and messages, illustrating the ongoing rift within the family. Notably, after attending the memorial service, Harry stayed at Althorp House, the ancestral home of the Spencer family, where his late mother, Princess Diana, was born and buried.

Following the WellChild Awards, it is anticipated that Harry’s stay in the UK will be brief, as he has a busy schedule that includes a philanthropic trip to New York City and a planned visit to Lutu, where he will meet with Prince Ciso. This packed itinerary suggests that significant time may pass before Harry returns to the UK again.
