How smart is Lala Kent? Well, Travis Kelce might help Vanderpump Rules fans find out. Lala will soon test her wits on Amazon’s newest game show, Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?
Of course, Pump Rules fans could always share their suppositions about Lala’s intelligence without seeing her compete. Granted, those suppositions probably wouldn’t be all that kind, especially with Lala’s baffling actions on Vanderpump Rules Season 11.
Perhaps Prime Video’s new game show will be a pleasant release for Lala as she stands against ruthless fans. For her sake, here’s hoping. But fear not. For those unenthused to see Lala on TV again, there are several other celebrities to look forward to seeing.
Lala and Garcelle show off their grade school knowledge
As per Amazon’s press release on August 8, “The highly-anticipated series premieres with three episodes on October 16, and offers a fun, new twist on the original game show.” For those unaware, the original game show would be Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader? The new Amazon show will maintain a similar classroom aesthetic to its progenitor.
The premise slots in similarly as well. An adult competitor “will rely on a classroom full of celebrities … to help them answer 11 questions on a range of subjects, pulled from elementary curriculum, in an effort to win a $100,000 prize.” As with the original show, questions are ranked by their grade level.
While the show will premiere with only three episodes, the show will air 20 episodes overall. Amazon confirmed multiple celebrity guests on top of Lala. Joining the VPR star among the show’s guests will be Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ own Garcelle Beauvais. Moreover, host Travis Kelce will see familiar faces from the world of football, such as Chad Ochocinco.
