Prince William wows with bold new look – and fans are divided

Prince William debuted a new look in a video alongside wife Kate Middleton earlier this month – and fans can’t get enough of it

Fans gush over 'hot' Prince William

Prince William has been branded ‘hot’ by enamoured royal fans after he showed off an unlikely new look.

The Prince of Wales was seen posing next to Princess Kate in a video posted to social media earlier this month, where the couple thanked Team GB for their hard work at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

In the clip, Kate could be heard saying: “From all of us watching at home, congratulations to Team GB.” William added: “Well done on all you’ve achieved, you’ve been an inspiration to us all.”

However, it wasn’t the sweet message that got people talking, but William’s brand new beard. Social media user Flynn West gushed: “I’m sorry, since when has Prince William been in his glow-up era? Please say it’s not just me girls, or does he look handsome?

“Don’t know about you but he is my king.”

And others were quick to agree, with one person chiming in: “He’s hot.” Meanwhile another similarly penned: “He’s so hot.”

A third said William would make a “handsome future king,” and another enthusiastic fan commented: “What a tan and a beard can do,” followed by a heart-eyes emoji.

However, others were quick to point out the fresh look wasn’t entirely new for William. “He’s already had a beard,” said one, while another joked: “He looks like my dad.”

And others thought the facial hair was just unflattering. One wrote: “Think you need to make an appointment at specsavers and get your eyes tested,” while another supporter cheekily assented: “Its just you.”

Princess Kate was seen wearing a jumper similar to the one she wore when she revealed her cancer diagnosis back in March. In a heartfelt video, the Princess of Wales said doctors discovered the cancer following tests conducted after her abdominal surgery in January.

“The surgery was successful,” she confirmed. “However, tests after the operation found cancer had been present.”

She continued, “My medical team therefore advised that I should undergo a course of preventative chemotherapy and I am now in the early stages of that treatment.

“This of course came as a huge shock, and William and I have been doing everything we can to process and manage this privately for the sake of our young family.”
