He has also chosen not to disclose the type of cancer, but he was able to return to royal duties in the spring.

Despite his ongoing commitments, Charles’s well-being, like Kate’s, has been a central concern for the royals this year.
Plans for a trip to New Zealand this fall were canceled following his visit to Australia and Samoa on his doctor’s advice.
