Royals Are Separated! Princess Catherine’s AWKWARD Moment Leaves Her In Heartbreaking Tears

Two years—two very long years—we’ve had TV episodes, a book, court cases, and more court cases, a near-catastrophic car chase, a coronation, and cancer, and cancer again. Just over two years ago, many things have come into focus since then, but here’s one that has not been discussed: that Elizabeth II’s funeral was possibly the last time that the Princess of Wales and the Duchess of Sussex will ever come face to face in public. That could very well be the last photo ever taken of the two women together, and that could have been the last time that Meghan will ever humble herself to set foot in the royal midst.

Ask yourself, when realistically will they ever be in the same room again? The only possible scenario where we may see a similar tableau is the funeral of King Charles, and even then, it really tests one’s imagination to picture it, given Buckingham Palace’s willingness to shove Harry into the second row at the late Queen’s funeral and the third row at his own father’s coronation. Where might they put the Duke when the very dark day comes?

Earlier this week, the Prince and Princess of Wales finally lodged their initial bid to secure a U.S. trademark focusing on mental health projects, which could potentially overlap with the Sussex’s work in the U.S. A source told us Meghan was quite shocked when she found out that the Waleses planned to do more work in America after trademarking their foundation’s brand with authorities. Although they’ve made a couple of trips to the U.S., it’s not really part of their territory, and now she feels like they could be moving in on her turf. Palace sources reportedly added that the resignation of the plans is nothing more than internal housekeeping, but it’s surprisingly still being viewed as a positive sign in Catherine’s path to recovery.

Back in July 2019, the last time that Catherine and Meghan were photographed side by side, they at least attempted to put on a good chummy show. At the time, rumors had swirled for months of introduced disharmony, with the claim that Meghan had allegedly made the princess cry ahead of the Sussex wedding. That outing was the last time that the king’s two daughters-in-law had actually been seen speaking to one another. In March 2020, during the Commonwealth Day service, they didn’t even look at one another, let alone utter a word.

Generally, royal events are typically known for their grandeur and precision, but even in the polished setting, awkward moments can occur. One such incident took place between the two of them during the late Queen Elizabeth II’s committal service. As the royal families were approaching their seats, Prince William had to direct his family members on where they could walk on the rows of seats. Having arrived first, he told his eldest son, Prince George, to pause, but Catherine was seemingly unaware and tried to walk down the aisle. William had to point out that they needed to wait, so she had to step back to allow Prince Harry and his wife to make their way down.

It was then that the princess made an almost hesitant gesture as she shifted and paused to let Meghan through. Although the move was brief and subtle, the slight shuffle she made out of Meghan’s way, coupled with the tense atmosphere surrounding the event, drew attention from social media. I suppose going on the telly and taking to the page to embarrass and rebuke one’s family and one’s sister-in-law can have its consequences.

Funny that what has become clearly a plethora of reports is that King Charles is more wary to open and rebuild some sort of relationship with Harry. As his younger brother, Prince Harry made his return to the UK for a charity event on Monday, Prince William, King Charles III’s eldest son, has reshared an emotional message from his wife. The timing of William’s post coincided with Prince Harry’s presence in London, where he attended an award ceremony to honor the bravery and achievements of seriously ill children and their families.
