Anderson indicated that the royal family is concentrating on navigating their public lives, especially with William preparing for his future role as king. He stated that the idea that Kate has the time and energy to continue acting as a peacemaker between the brothers is unrealistic. After years of attempting to bridge the gap between Harry and William, she reportedly became frustrated with the lack of progress.
Not everyone agrees that Kate ever played the role of peacemaker. Royal expert Ian Pelham-Turner expressed skepticism about this narrative, questioning whether it was fabricated by public relations efforts to promote Kate.
