King Charles has shared a touching video marking Father’s Day.
King Charles posted a touching Father’s Day post to the late Prince Philip with a sweet black and white video montage.
The videos, taken over 70 years ago, were posted to X featuring memories of the young monarch with his father, who sadly died in April 2021.
The heartfelt post was posted alongside the caption: “Wishing all Dads, and those who may be missing their parents today, a relaxing Father’s Day.”
Some of the historic clips showed a young Charles being held in his father’s arms.
Another touching clip showed the young royal feeding horses with Philip while the late Queen watched.
It comes after Prince William shared a similar, heartwarming post.
The Prince of Wales has taken a trip down memory lane, sharing a nostalgic photo of him and a young Prince William enjoying a game of football to commemorate Father’s Day.
The heartwarming snap, captured on June 12, 1984, showcases a beaming Charles and William immersed in their playful match. The post was affectionately captioned ‘Happy Father’s Day, Pa,’ and personally signed off by William.
Later that same year, the Royal Family welcomed another addition with the birth of Prince Harry in September.
Prince William shared a photo of him playing football with the King to mark Father’s Day
As tensions continue to simmer within the royal household, all eyes are on whether the Duke of Sussex will extend a Father’s Day greeting of his own.
Royal author Tom Quinn, speaking to The Mirror, shared his insights: “King Charles’ birthday and Father’s Day are both a nightmare for Harry.
“He knows the world will be watching to see whether he is big enough to reach out to his father. He is determined to try to ignore his troubled relationship with his father and he will certainly send a warm message.
“It’s easy to forget that Harry really does love his father, he just hates the fact that Charles seems always to support William when there is a family dispute.”
