Kate Middleton talks about relationship with William going stronger as she recovers from cancer

To celebrate Prince William’s 42nd birthday, Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, posted a delightful photograph she took of her husband and their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. The image, shared on the official Instagram and X accounts of the Prince and Princess of Wales on June 21st, features the four of them holding hands as they leap over a beach sand dune with their arms in the air and their mouths open in joy. The caption reads, “Happy birthday, Pop! We all love you so much.”

As an amateur photographer, Middleton is known for snapping photos of her family and sharing them for various occasions. This latest image complements the earlier Father’s Day post, which showed William and the children standing on a beach with their arms around one another and their backs to the camera. Despite the similar beach setting, the family is depicted in different outfits in each post, showcasing their casual and loving side.

The family was seen together for the first time in months on Saturday, June 15th, at the annual Trooping the Colour, prompting the heartwarming birthday post. The Prince and Princess of Wales, along with their children, joined King Charles III and Queen Camilla on the balcony of Buckingham Palace to watch the Royal Air Force flypast after the parade. Their youngest child, Louis, was seen both moving and yawning, adding to the charming family dynamic.

Trooping the Colour is one of the few occasions throughout the year when the entire family is present, and they appeared united. Middleton’s appearance at the event, also known as the Prince’s Birthday Parade, marked her return to the spotlight after stepping back from public duties since December 2023.

The Princess of Wales revealed in a video message on March 22nd that she was undergoing a course of preventative chemotherapy after being diagnosed with an unspecified type of cancer following planned abdominal surgery in January. Prior to this announcement, Middleton’s absence had led to circulating rumors and conspiracy theories, drawing attention from observers worldwide.

Middleton was originally scheduled to attend the final rehearsal of Trooping the Colour, also known as the Colonel’s Review, as Colonel of the Irish Guards. However, she was unable to attend due to ongoing health issues. She issued an apology and expressed gratitude to the Irish Guards, reflecting her commitment and connection to her duties despite her health challenges.
