Prince Louis’ HEARTBREAKING Eight-Word Response To Mother Catherine About Royals Death

The late Queen was not only a head of state but also a cherished grandmother, doting on her eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, a role she truly relished. As one of her great-grandchildren, Prince Louis had an exceptionally close bond with the British monarch. For a start, their birthdays are just two days apart. Louis is also close to his great-grandmother thanks to his parents. So much so, in fact, that his mother, Catherine, has a direct phone line to the Queen, which she uses regularly to check in on her and give her updates on the children.

To make matters between Queen Elizabeth and Prince Louis even sweeter, it was revealed that the Princess reportedly taught the Queen how to operate Zoom so that she could continue to see her great-grandchildren throughout the coronavirus pandemic lockdown. Her legendary commitment to her duties was unmatched, yet it was her profound affection for her family that shone through, captured in intimate photos and anecdotes from those who knew her best.

Royal fans have been wondering how the great-grandchildren of Queen Elizabeth II have been handling the news of her death at 96 years old, and we may have a glimpse into how they are coping. While meeting with supporters outside of Windsor Castle, the Princess of Wales revealed what Louis said in response to the news of the Queen’s passing. She said, “My little Louis, he’s just so sweet. He’s like, ‘Mommy, don’t worry, she’s with Great-Grandpa.'” It just shows you how special she was to everybody, all generations. The comment was made while she was viewing tributes to her late grandmother-in-law and made headlines for walking alongside Prince Harry and his wife, with whom they had a strained relationship at the time and still do.

According to royal author Katie Nicholl, the late Queen adored her great-grandchildren, which is plain to see in a photograph shared by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in April 2021, which sees the Queen holding a tiny baby Louis. To celebrate the Queen’s 90th birthday, Middleton revealed that her children have an adorable nickname for their grandmother, which Charlotte and Louis have likely picked up on too. He calls her “Gan-Gan,” Middleton says, adding that whenever Elizabeth visits, she always leaves a little gift or something in their room when they go and stay. That just shows her love for the family.

Back in June, all eyes were on Queen Elizabeth II as she appeared on the balcony of Buckingham Palace during the Trooping the Colour parade, but it was Prince Louis who inadvertently stole the show. The pint-sized royal, four, appeared alongside his great-grandmother on the balcony of the palace with other members of the family, including his parents and older siblings. Louis was animated as ever, reacting to the noise of the planes overhead, waving to the crowd, and making all sorts of funny faces as he looked at the massive aircraft flying low over the palace. Queen Elizabeth continued to smile throughout his antics, seemingly enjoying her great-grandson even in his most energetic moments.

The late Queen made her comments when George was four and Charlotte just two, but even then, she had a protective streak over her brother. It didn’t matter then that George was older or that George is heir to the throne. It’s Charlotte who runs the show. When Emily was asked if she looked after her younger sister, Emily’s mother replied, “It’s the other way around,” to which her late Majesty responded, “It’s like that with Charlotte and George.” It was a rare quip from the monarch about her great-grandchildren, and nothing changed after Louis was born three months later. She is particularly protective of her younger sibling.

In a photo released by William and Catherine for Charlotte’s third birthday, she’s cradling Louis in her lap and kissing her sleeping brother’s head. When Louis was christened later that year in 2018, Charlotte doted on her baby brother. While everyone else looked at the camera and smiled, Charlotte was focused on Louis as she held his hand.
