Shocking update from Catherine about her cancer diagnosis shock the entire royal family

In a heartfelt Instagram post, Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, provided an update on her ongoing battle with cancer and made her first public appearance since December at King Charles III’s birthday celebrations in March. The Princess did not specify the type of cancer she has but expressed her gratitude for the support she has received.

Kate shared her experience with her followers, writing:

“I am making good progress, but as anyone undergoing chemotherapy will know, there are good days and bad days. You have to give in and let your body rest on those bad days because you feel weak and exhausted. However, you want to make the most of your good days when you feel stronger.”

She mentioned that her treatment is proceeding well but acknowledged that she is “not out of the woods yet.” Kate hopes to attend more public events this summer, depending on how her upcoming weeks of treatment go, following a non-public abdominal surgery.

Kate, who revealed her diagnosis in March and began a course of preventative chemotherapy, emphasized the importance of taking each day as it comes and listening to her body. She expressed her excitement about possibly attending the King’s Birthday parade with her family and participating in a few public engagements throughout the summer.

The royal family has been affected by several cancer diagnoses recently. Earlier this year, it was made public that King Charles III had also been diagnosed with cancer of an unknown type and had begun treatment. Additionally, Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, shared her breast cancer journey, revealing that she had been diagnosed with malignant melanoma.

Kate’s message also highlighted the support she has received:

“Over the past few months, there have been so many kind messages of support and encouragement that have blown my mind. It has really helped William and me get through some tough times and has made all the difference in the world.”

She concluded her post by expressing her determination and gratitude:

“My treatment is ongoing and will continue for several months more. When I feel all right, it is a delight to engage with school life, invest personal time in the things that give me energy and joy, and begin to do a little work from home. Although I am aware that I am not yet out of the woods, I am looking forward to going to the King’s Birthday parade this weekend with my family and hope to participate in a few public engagements throughout the summer. I’m getting better at being patient, especially when there’s uncertainty, taking every day as it comes, listening to my body, and allowing myself to take the time to heal. Thank you so much for your continued understanding and for sharing your stories with me with such bravery.”

Kate’s openness and resilience continue to inspire many, and her presence at King Charles III’s birthday celebration marked a significant moment in her journey, symbolizing hope and perseverance amidst her battle with cancer.
