Kate Middleton backing off from royal duties leaving handing to Camilla dueto fight for royal tittle

Princess Katherine, the Princess of Wales, is reportedly planning to withdraw from the public eye indefinitely as she continues her cancer treatment, according to a palace insider. This news comes after Katherine made a brief return to public life by attending the Wimbledon Men’s final with her 9-year-old daughter, Princess Charlotte, where she presented the singles trophy to Carlos Alcaraz. This appearance followed her participation in Trooping the Colour in June, marking her first return to public service since her cancer diagnosis.

Despite showing courage and character during these outings, Katherine acknowledged on social media that she is not out of the woods yet. Robert Jobson, author of “Catherine the Princess of Wales,” highlighted that Katherine’s perspective and priorities have shifted significantly due to her health battle. He noted that she used to follow a strict calendar for her royal duties, but now her focus is on her well-being and family, with the calendar coming second.

A palace insider informed Vanity Fair that the Wales family is expected to spend most of the summer at their country home, Anmer Hall, in Norfolk, maintaining a low profile. Due to Katherine’s ongoing treatment, the family will not be traveling extensively. However, they are planning a trip to Scotland next month to visit King Charles and Queen Camilla.

Another insider told People that Katherine will not be required to take center stage and will prioritize spending time with her family to conserve her energy and focus on her rehabilitation. The decision to step back from public duties will provide her ample time to concentrate on her recovery and well-being.

Katherine’s recent appearances at Wimbledon and Trooping the Colour have been seen as acts of bravery and determination, as she knew the world was watching her closely. Her focus now remains on her health and family, with the hope of returning to her public duties when she is fully ready.
