Queen Camilla left humiIiated as king Charles push her to one corner while making royal decisions

Queen Camilla had initially been against King Charles’s decision to publicly share updates regarding his cancer diagnosis.

In January, Charles disclosed that he was receiving treatment for an enlarged prostate in an interview that was published earlier this week. Royal author Robert Jobson stated that Camilla did not want him disclosing his condition, but the king overruled her.

Jobson explained, while promoting his latest book *Katherine: Princess of Wales*, that Charles thought it was an opportunity to lead by example and to encourage men with similar symptoms to seek prompt medical care. The author went on to explain that Charles benefited from disclosing information about his health to the general public.

A separate concern was noted during the king’s recent hospital procedure for benign prostate enlargement. According to a February statement from Buckingham Palace, a type of cancer was identified by subsequent diagnostic tests. The palace disclosed at the time that Charles had commenced a schedule of regular treatments and had stepped back from public responsibilities. According to the statement’s conclusion, His Majesty chose to share his diagnosis in order to prevent speculation and to assist public understanding for all those around the world who are affected by cancer.

Emulating Charles’s example, Princess Kate Middleton, after months of widespread speculation, announced on March 22nd that she had also been diagnosed with cancer and would undergo chemotherapy.

Charles has returned to the public eye more frequently than Kate, who has maintained a low profile as her battle with cancer continues.

In addition, Jobson spoke exclusively with *Us Weekly* regarding the ongoing health crisis affecting the royal family. He revealed that Prince William was completely crestfallen when he heard the news that his wife had cancer so soon after his father had received a diagnosis of the same kind.

Jobson described the Prince of Wales’s diagnosis of cancer as devastating for him, imagining that William felt a lump in his throat or an empty feeling in his stomach upon hearing the news. Charles and Kate remained extremely composed when it came to the fresh insight about their well-being, however, William adopted a more emotional approach.
