Royal Palace Finally Succumbs To William’s BRUTAL Move In ‘Jealous’ Feud, Marked Catherine’s Return

While 2024 has been a challenging year on a personal level for Prince William, with both his father, King Charles, and his wife, Catherine, diagnosed with cancer, his professional achievements have been remarkable. William’s Earthshot Prize continues to make significant strides, having already allocated $29 million to fund 15 innovative solutions to the climate crisis. Similarly, his initiative to end homelessness in the UK, Homewards, is gaining momentum. Just last week, the Homewards Foundation opened a deeply moving exhibition on homelessness.

William’s efforts aren’t just about implementing practical solutions; they are also focused on changing public attitudes and beliefs. This shift in tone and approach is critically important, and William’s work in this area deserves high praise.

In a recent social media clip celebrating the end of the Paris Olympics, the Prince and Princess of Wales took a break from their summer vacation to congratulate Team GB on their achievements. The video marked Princess Catherine’s first appearance since her visit to Wimbledon last month, but it was Prince William who stole the spotlight with his surprising new beard, sparking excitement among royal fans. The prince, typically clean-shaven, was last seen with facial hair on Christmas Day in 2008. His new “vacation beard” is being viewed by some as a playful continuation of the “beard war” with his brother, Prince Harry.

This surprising look has reignited discussions about one of Prince Harry’s wilder claims in his memoir *Spare*. According to Harry, one of the many disputes between the estranged brothers was over facial hair. Harry alleged that William was furious when Harry was allowed to keep his beard for his wedding, despite it being against royal protocol. Harry had personally sought permission from the late Queen, which reportedly irked William, who felt that Harry was taking advantage of their grandmother’s position.

Friends of William have long disputed Harry’s characterization of events in his book, pointing out that William is unable to publicly refute these claims. A former courtier who worked in the palace at the time of Harry and Meghan’s wedding noted that William was frustrated by Harry’s repeated requests for special treatment, often bypassing traditional channels to appeal directly to the Queen. This behavior blurred the line between her roles as monarch and grandmother, creating unnecessary tension.

A military source confirmed that the issue of Harry’s beard at his wedding was related to military protocol, which at the time prohibited beards for serving members of the armed forces due to the need for gas masks to seal properly. Harry circumvented this by obtaining special permission from the Queen, which further annoyed William.

Although it’s never been confirmed why William initially grew his beard, many believe it was an attempt to disguise his identity during an SBS mission before he joined the RAF. This theory is supported by the fact that King Charles also grew a beard during naval exercises in Alaska in 1975.

In the recent video, William, dressed casually in a polo shirt, stood alongside Catherine and praised Team GB, saying, “Well done on all you’ve achieved.” However, many viewers were distracted by his new look, with one fan exclaiming on social media, “Wow, I’m loving the facial hair—very handsome!” Another commented, “William’s beard era is back.” The prince’s unshaven appearance certainly sparked a flurry of comments online, with many delighted to see Catherine again and appreciating the new look on William.
