Prince Harry rejects King Charles offer to relocate to the royal family blaming Camilla for Diana’s.

Prince Harry’s recent visit to the UK in May has sparked intrigue and speculation, particularly regarding his choice of accommodations and the nature of his relationship with his father, King Charles. According to reports, the Duke of Sussex, who was in Britain to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games, was offered a room at Buckingham Palace but opted instead to stay at a hotel.

This decision has led to discussions about the dynamics between Prince Harry and the rest of the royal family. Initially, it was suggested that Harry had requested to stay in a royal residence, a request that was reportedly approved by the King. However, it appears that plans changed, and Harry chose to stay elsewhere, possibly due to complications in scheduling a meeting with his father.

Sources indicate that King Charles, who was staying at Clarence House at the time, had a busy schedule, including military engagements and his weekly meeting with the Prime Minister. Despite Harry’s expressed desire to meet his father during the visit, the two did not manage to coordinate a meeting. Friends of Harry have suggested that the King’s busy schedule was the reason for the missed opportunity, while others close to the royal circles maintain that the Duke did not give sufficient notice for a meeting.

This visit was particularly poignant as it was expected to be the first time Harry and King Charles would see each other since the news broke that the King was undergoing treatment for an undisclosed form of cancer. Harry had previously rushed to the UK upon learning of his father’s health condition, and they briefly met at Clarence House. However, during this May visit, no such meeting occurred.

After his UK visit, Prince Harry traveled to Nigeria with his wife, Meghan Markle, for what has been described as a “quasi-royal tour.” The couple then continued their travels to Colombia, where they were warmly welcomed by the country’s Vice President, Francia Márquez, and her husband. The Sussexes are spending four days in Colombia, engaging in cultural and social visits, and meeting with members of Team Colombia, which is preparing for the 2025 Invictus Games in Whistler, Canada.

This trip is part of the Sussexes’ broader efforts to maintain their public profile and continue their charitable work independently of the British royal family. Their visit to Colombia, similar to their earlier trip to Nigeria, has been dubbed a “DIY royal tour,” highlighting their continued engagement in international humanitarian efforts.

As Prince Harry and Meghan Markle continue their travels, it remains uncertain when Harry will next see his father. The complexities of their relationship and the challenges of balancing personal and public responsibilities continue to draw significant public interest and media attention.
