An expert claims that King Charles is aware that the Princess of Wales is a media magnet and has acknowledged that Kate Middleton is the glamorous side of the royal family.
As indicated by royal expert and author Robert Jobson, the Princess of Wales is a critical piece of the royal family, and Charles recognizes Kate’s immense popularity. Jobson said that Charles has learned from his past experiences. Despite Charles’s disapproval of Princess Diana’s popularity, he seems to be okay with Kate being the center of attention because he knows how glamorous she is and how valuable that is to the institution.
“King Charles knows how famous Princess Kate is, and he is likewise fully aware that there is a glamorous side to royalty as well as it being a sacred institution,” Jobson told GB News. “She is the glamorous side of that institution, and as a result, in terms of the popular press and television, he realizes that nine times out of ten, the cameras will be focused on her at an engagement, whether he or she is there. He doesn’t have a problem with that, though he might have in the past when he was with Diana all those years ago—who knows?”

Robert Jobson claims that the Princess of Wales has a unique capacity for resolving conflicts between her husband, Prince William, and his father, King Charles. An insider told GB News, “She’s been able to smooth his path to an easier relationship with William when there are issues because they are both quite strong-minded people, and that’s always been very helpful. The king is not someone who likes confrontation, so having someone like Catherine, who is the hub and heart of the royal family and a solution finder, is very, very helpful,” he added.
Jobson also talked about how close Kate is to Charles and Queen Camilla, saying that her relationships with them are hugely important to the monarch. According to Jobson, “She gets on swimmingly with Queen Camilla, as she did all those photographs for her, and they also get on very well. I feel that is vital to the king as well, as both these women are enormously significant in his life.”
