Prince Andrew exposed Camilla’s darkest secret after being kicked out by King Charles from residence

Recent reports reveal the real reason behind King Charles’s decision to evict Prince Andrew from Royal Lodge, and it’s not about the money. According to a palace insider, the move is aimed at protecting the monarchy from potential future damage linked to the disgraced Duke of York.

Prince Andrew, who was stripped of his royal duties and HRH title in 2021 due to allegations of sexual misconduct and his connections to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, has been at the center of controversy. Since 2003, Andrew and his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, have shared a 75-year lease on the expansive 19th-century Royal Lodge. However, King Charles is reportedly keen to downsize the couple to a less grand residence.

Lee Cohen, a royal insider, explained that Charles’s motivation is not financial but rather about shielding the monarchy from negative publicity. “Expelling Prince Andrew is not merely about finances; it’s about protecting the institution’s integrity and ensuring that those associated with it are clearly defined and focused,” Cohen told GB News.

Adding to the complexity, Royal Lodge has faced significant maintenance issues, with a reported £500,000 annual upkeep leading to problems such as peeling paint, crumbling brickwork, and an alarming damp issue. Tensions between Charles and Andrew surfaced earlier this year due to these issues. The Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson, covered the cost of urgent repairs out of her own funds, temporarily staving off eviction.

In a further effort to persuade Andrew and Sarah to vacate, Charles canceled a contract for 24-hour security at the lodge last week. Despite these tensions, it is believed that Andrew will join King Charles and the rest of the royal family at Balmoral Castle in the Scottish Highlands for the Monarch’s annual summer retreat. A source told the *Daily Express* that Andrew, who has spent most of his time at Royal Lodge since Christmas, is looking forward to the change of scenery and the opportunity to spend time with the family at Balmoral.
