The Princess of Wales will be “conflicted” over Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis’ return to school this week, a royal commentator has claimed.
The young royals have been spending lots of time with their parents over the summer holidays but will return to school this week.
Princess Kate and Prince William recently took their children to Balmoral, a favourite destination for the Royal Family during the summer months.
The Princess of Wales was diagnosed with cancer earlier this year and has undergone preventative chemotherapy since the disease was discovered.

Royal commentator Jennie Bond OK: “I think that, like most mums, Catherine will have conflicting emotions about the end of the school holidays.
“Entertaining three children day after day – especially when there must still be days when she is feeling the effects of her cancer treatment – can’t always have been easy in these past few weeks.”
Bond added: “Now it’s back to the early morning discipline of school uniforms, bags packed, homework done and the school run.
“It will give Catherine the chance to rest quietly when she needs it without feeling guilty that she’s not with the children, and it will also give her the opportunity to continue the work that she has been doing behind the scenes on the campaign and projects that mean so much to her.”

So far in 2024, the royal has only made two major public appearances.
The first came on June 15 at Trooping the Colour alongside her children Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte 9 and Prince Louis, 6.
The second came almost exactly a month later on July 14 during the men’s singles final at Wimbledon.
Princess Kate was joined by her daughter Princess Charlotte and sister Pippa Matthews during the appearance on Centre Court.

The insider said: “They made a clear and conscious decision to take time out as a family this summer.
“Seeing them both looking so happy and relaxed with each other and so comfortable in each other’s company tells you a lot about where they are.”
