King Charles breakdown as doctors reveal he has very limited time Left. Camilla file for divorce

The British monarch was asked how he was doing during his ongoing cancer treatment while visiting with the families of the three young children killed in a knife attack in Southport.

The 75-year-old was given the news in February when he was told he had a type of cancer that has not been named. However, he’s been undergoing treatment since then. Charles has shared intermittent updates about his well-being with the general public. During a visit to the Army Flying Museum in May, Charles revealed that he had lost his sense of taste as a result of his chemotherapy treatment. He was conversing with a British Army veteran named Aaron Melbeck but did not specify if the effects would be permanent.

Charles visited the museum shortly after returning to his public duties, though he had to take some time off for therapy and recuperation. On April 30th, Charles visited London’s College School Emergency Clinic and the Macmillan Disease Center, with Queen Camilla by his side. On April 26th, Buckingham Palace announced that His Majesty is very grateful to his medical team for their continued care and expertise and thanked the public for their support. The statement also mentioned that Charles’s diagnosis came at the same time as Kate Middleton’s own treatment for an unspecified cancer.

The statement noted that their majesties are extremely appreciative of the numerous acts of kindness and well-wishes they have received from around the world throughout the joys and challenges of the past year. Both Charles and Kate took a break from public appearances earlier this year but have returned more frequently in recent months. Kate, for instance, attended Wimbledon in July with her husband, Prince William, and made a surprise appearance in a video during the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Despite the ups and downs of 2024 for the royal family, including a scary fall for Princess Anne in June that required a brief hospital stay, they have been supportive of each other. After a five-day stay at Southmead Hospital, Princess Anne was discharged. Her husband, Tim Lawrence, thanked the hospital team for their care and expertise in a statement on June 24th. The statement indicated that the Princess Royal remains in Southmead Hospital, Bristol, for precautionary observation but is expected to make a full and rapid recovery. The King has been kept updated on her condition and, along with the rest of the royal family, wishes her a speedy recovery.

Nearly three months after receiving her cancer diagnosis, the Princess of Wales revealed that she is making good progress with chemotherapy. Despite the challenges, Kate wrote on Instagram on June 14th that on bad days, she feels weak and tired but aims to make the most of her good days when she feels stronger. She mentioned that her treatment would continue for a few more months and expressed joy in participating in school life, spending personal time doing energizing activities, and working from home on days she feels well.

Buckingham Palace announced on April 26th that Charles would resume public duties nearly three months after his diagnosis. On March 22nd, the Princess of Wales revealed in a video message that she had been diagnosed with cancer following abdominal surgery in January. She initially believed her condition was non-cancerous, but subsequent tests revealed the presence of cancer. As a result, her medical team recommended preventative chemotherapy, which she is currently undergoing.
