Doctors on Kate Middleton Cancer treatment reveals why she can’t recover from cancer after treatment

Following speculation about her return to work, the Palace has announced that the Princess of Wales will not be participating in a high-profile event next month. This news comes just days after King Charles announced that he would be attending the Trooping the Colour on June 15th, a few weeks after resuming his official duties on the advice of his doctor.

The announcement that Kate would undergo abdominal surgery and take a break from her duties while she recovered was made public by Kensington Palace in January. After two months and amidst intense speculation about her health during her public absence, Kate announced in an emotional video that cancer had been discovered during the surgery and that she had been undergoing preventative chemotherapy across an incredibly difficult two or three months.

Katie Nicholl, the Royal correspondent for Vanity Fair, has revealed new information about Kate’s health. Speaking to The Sun’s Royal Exclusive Show, she disclosed that Kate faced difficulties at the beginning of her cancer journey. She stated to The Sun’s Royal Editor Matt Wilkinson, “I’ve been told by sources very close to the Princess of Wales that she had struggled with the treatment initially. Nobody wants to have this, you know, after major surgery, a long period of recovery, and then she has to go through treatment. I believe it was difficult at first, so I was relieved to learn from multiple sources that she has recently made progress.”

Nicholl assured that Kate would be returning in her full capacity once she’s given the all-clear, refuting recent reports that Kate may not return to work in the same capacity. Initially, it was hoped that Kate would make a balcony appearance at the high-profile Trooping the Colour parade in London this weekend. However, her return to the public eye now seems less likely.

Prince William is planning to travel to Germany to support the men’s football team. He has hinted that his wife is winning her battle with cancer after Princess Kate was diagnosed at the beginning of this year. It is not known whether he will be joined by any of their three children, but it is unlikely he will be accompanied by the Princess of Wales, who is recovering from her cancer treatment.
