Ariana Madix might have objectively had the toughest time at the Vanderpump Rules reunion, but not according to Scheana Shay. Scheana was playing the victim hard last season and it put a strain on her friendship with Ariana. Scheana decided to join Tom Sandoval’s redemption tour and side with Lala Kent in trashing her so-called bestie. It wasn’t cute to watch.
Even though Pump Rules Season 11 came to a close, there are a lot of loose ends to tie up. The cast isn’t going to film this summer, as usual, to allow the stars to simmer down after a volatile season of strained friendships. However, Scheana is still living in the VPR reunion reality apparently, and continues to rehash what happened last season.
Scheana is defending her narrative
In an episode of the Scheananigans podcast, Scheana claims that fans didn’t get the full picture at the end of the VPR reunion. “There was a moment after the reunion where Ariana gave me a hug and told me she loved me and you don’t see that,” Scheana claimed. “You see me going straight to Lala.” OK and do you want a prize for hugging your friend after the end of a stressful day? It’s unclear what Scheana is attempting to achieve with this “revelation.”
Scheana added that she wished that VPR Season 11 showed more scenes of genuine friendship between herself and Ariana. That seems obvious as Scheana probably thinks it would’ve taken some of the heat off of her for siding with Lala. However, the jury is still out on whether it really would have made an impact or not.
