Vanderpump Rules stars Tom Sandoval and Rachel Leviss carried on an affair behind Ariana Madix’s back. Once the affair was exposed, many people spoke up. And that included VPR alum Jax Taylor and his wife, Brittany Cartwright. Scandoval resurrected their reality TV career, and eventually, the duo joined the cast of The Valley. However, Jax continued to bash his former friend, Sandoval.
Jax Taylor didn’t expect to mend his friendship with Tom Sandoval
Jax has been going through a great deal in his personal life. After his separation from Brittany, he checked into a rehab facility for his mental health in July 2024. Once he left the facility, Jax shared that he was diagnosed with bipolar disorder. “I’ve been put on some serious medication that’s actually helping me out a lot,” he explained. That is wonderful news that Jax’s medication is helping him.
Meanwhile, Brittany filed for divorce. After making some mistakes on his legal documents, Jax retained Mark Vincent Kaplan, who was Kevin Federline’s lawyer. Initially, Jax wrote that he wanted Brittany to have full custody of their son, Cruz. But now his attorney is helping him pursue joint custody of Cruz.
Even though Sandoval and Jax’s bromance fell apart during Season 8 of Pump Rules, Jax did film with Sandoval for Season 11 of the show. “I had a really, really nice conversation with him. What he went through though was life-changing,” Jax previously said. “We had a really good conversation.”
During a recent episode of his podcast, When Reality Hits with Jax and Brittany, Jax opened up about the status of his friendship with Sandoval. “Now I probably talk to Tom three to four times a week. He comes to the bar, he sings karaoke, you know, he’s on tour right now, but I just hung out with him and his mom and his dad,” Jax explained. “And it was just great to see them.” As you may recall, Sandoval fronts his cover band, Tom Sandoval and The Most Extras.
“I love Tom, and I will always love him no matter what he does,” Jax stated. “He’s my best friend.” I have a sneaking suspicion that we are going to see Sandoval filming a bit for The Valley, like Scheana Shay and Lala Kent.
