Plenty of folks dream of starring on a reality television show. There are tons of endorsements and other opportunities that come along with show business. Few programs are as well-known as Vanderpump Rules, which is where fans first caught a glimpse of Rachel Leviss. She only was part of the cast for 19 months before announcing why she was getting out of Hollywood. The former reality TV star sat down with People to discuss her new plans for her future. She also brought awesome news that’s sure to excite viewers of Vanderpump Rules.
Rachel Leviss Opens Up About New Man
Leviss was in a relationship with Tom Sandoval, one of her costars on the reality show. The launch of their relationship was met with tons of criticism, as Sandoval was just getting out of a nine-year relationship with Ariana Madix. What makes the former situation even worse is that Madix and Leviss were once good friends. Plenty of folks on social media claimed Leviss was a home-wrecker, even after her relationship with Sandoval came to an end. Leviss checked into a mental health facility to work through the trauma she endured.
Now, Leviss finds herself dating someone who’s totally out of the spotlight. Leviss said he’s “very normal” and wouldn’t even name him. She later went on to say, “He’s just such a supportive person, and I just feel really happy.” While Leviss wouldn’t go into any other personal details about her new man, a source close to her revealed that he’s a rocket engineer. He couldn’t be more different from Sandoval. The source went on to say:
“Really smart and kind and down to earth and, most importantly, disinterested in social media. He’s not even on social media. So his priorities are really in the right place.”
Going from someone who wants to post everything on social media to someone who couldn’t care less about it has to be a welcomed change of pace for Leviss. Hopefully, the two make their time together last forever, as she truly does seem happy.
Rachel Leviss Isn’t Coming Back to Vanderpump Rules
After everything she’s been through since joining the show, it’s no shock that Leviss has no interest in putting her life back on screen for millions to see. She confirmed that she’s not joining the cast again and plans to focus on her podcast and new relationship.
An insider said Leviss will continue to split her life between Idaho and Arizona. The insider went on to say, “She loves the health and wellness field, with therapy and learning, so she’s going to put her focus there.” There’s nothing wrong with trying new things in life, but it’s good to know when to follow your instincts. Leviss was smart to get out of something she felt was so toxic.
Rachel “Raquel” Leviss is reportedly dating a “really smart” rocket scientist.
“They met through mutual friends and just hit it off,” an insider told People Friday.
“He’s an incredible guy. Really smart and kind and down to earth and, most importantly, disinterested in social media. He’s not even on social media. So his priorities are really in the right place.”
Leviss did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

The report about her boyfriend’s career as a rocket scientist comes after the former “Vanderpump Rules” star announced on the final episode of her “Rachel Goes Rogue” podcast Thursday that she was seeing someone.
“He’s just such a supportive person, and I just feel really happy,” she told her podcast guest, psychologist Dr. Hillary Goldsher.
“The reason why I’m choosing to share it with you guys now, with the permission of my significant other, is because it is a success story, and there is hope for the people that are listening who are struggling with relationships and and really can’t quite see the light at the end of the tunnel yet,” Leviss explained.
“When you do course-correct and choose a different lifestyle for yourself and prioritize different things in your life and … put all that energy back into yourself, then you really will begin … to attract a different caliber of person.”
Of course, Leviss, 30, made headlines in March 2023 when her affair with former co-star Tom Sandoval was discovered. Their secret relationship, which had been quietly going on for months, led to Sandoval’s split from Ariana Madix, who had been his girlfriend of nine years.
Leviss and Sandoval, 42, broke up about two months later in May 2023.
She went on to claim Sandoval manipulated her into keeping quiet about the affair and slammed him for trying “to milk the victim role to make himself look better.”
About one year after the affair news broke, Leviss began dating single dad and investor Matthew Dunn.
However, she revealed on her podcast in June that she dumped him because he shared photos with her on social media only a month into their relationship.
During Thursday’s podcast episode, Leviss announced it would be her final show as she focuses on a “more balanced and healthier life.”
“I’ve made the decision to take both feet out of the ‘Vanderpump Rules’ universe and focus on myself and my healing,” she said.
She also said she was “choosing a life that is fully aligned in [her] values.”
Leviss declined to appear on Season 11 of “Vandrpump Rules” following the affair.
The future of the show remains unknown, as filming has been on pause since summer.
