Cheryl Burke parted ways with Dancing With The Stars, but she’s eager to keep talking about the hit competition show. The dancer hosts her very own podcast, Sex, Lies, and Spray Tans, where she dishes about her experience on DWTS and makes predictions about upcoming seasons.
In a recent episode, she sat down with DWTS analyst Kristyn Burtt. Of course, the women discussed possible competitors for Season 33. And Cheryl believes one particular Vanderpump Rules star will receive an invite.
Cheryl Burke Thinks An Infamous VPR Star Will Get An Invitation
In recent years, reality TV stars have been staples of Dancing With The Stars. Of course, Bravo has innumerable cast members eager to put on their dancing shoes.
Ariana Madix came in third place last season. Could another Vanderpump Rules star be next?
According to Cheryl, The Traitors also uses the same casting directors that work on Dancing With The Stars. As a result, there’s ample opportunity to cast reality stars across multiple platforms.
“Don’t be shocked if you see some similar names – Tom Sandoval,” Cheryl shared on the podcast. Since Tom is a contestant on The Traitors Season 3, she believes DWTS might try to cast him for the upcoming fall season.
However, Kristyn Burtt wasn’t quite on board with Cheryl’s prediction.
“I think he’s perfect for Traitors because he’s been a villain on Vanderpump Rules for so long,” the DWTS analyst commented. “But I feel like after Ariana just did this particular season. We’ve moved on.”
Burtt does have a point here. Dancing With The Stars famously casts people who are currently making headlines. It’s possible the public is tired of the Scandoval story.
If Not Tom Sandoval, Who Else Could Join The Dance Competition?
Even if Tom Sandoval doesn’t appear on Dancing With The Stars Season 33, it’s entirely possible another cast member of Vanderpump Rules will.
Scheana Shay previously said she felt devastated when DWTS chose Ariana Madix over her. Since then, Scheana has had a bit of a falling out with pro dancer, Gleb Savchenko. With bad blood between the two, it’s not currently known if the casting department will move forward with Scheana.
Gleb Savchenko publicly declared he’d love to see Lisa Vanderpump’s husband Ken Todd join DWTS. However, Ken quickly shut that idea down when asked.
“Oh no! I can’t even walk, let alone dance,” he adamantly told The Sun.
