The Valley star Jax Taylor is showing off his new midlife crisis style. He and his wife, Brittany Cartwright have been separated since January 2024. Yet, they would have celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary on June 29th. Now, Jax is showing off a new look but what has he done to himself? Keep reading for more details.
The Valley Jax Taylor Shows Off Midlife Crisis Style
Jax Taylor seemed to have reformed when he proposed to Brittany Cartwright in Season 7 of Vanderpump Rules. Prior to that, he had no problem cheating on all of his girlfriends and did not care who he hurt. He was unfaithful to Stassi Schroeder then lied about it all through Season 1. Finally, he confessed in the season finale only to sleep with her best friend, Kristen Doute while she was dating his best friend, Tom Sandoval. Jax lied about that too but the truth came out. He cheated on Brittany in Season 6 but they quickly got back together.
At the end of the season, they broke up but reconciled when his father passed away and despite warnings, the two tied the knot in Season 8. They welcomed their son, Cruz, in 2021 and then they started working on The Valley, a spinoff of Vanderpump Rules. Shortly before the show started airing, rumors flew they had parted but they denied it. Ultimately, in February 2024, Brittany confirmed she had moved out and Jax has since been seen out with other women. Now, he is admitting that he is in the midst of a midlife crisis.
According to Bravo, the forty-four-year-old took to his Instagram stories to show off a new style. His hair is either buzzed or really short and spiked up. However, in this photo, Jax Taylor’s brunette locks are longer and tousled. He wrote over one snap:
- “how male millennials style. hair.”
Then, he added another which said:
- “the new look for guys going through mid life crisis… #this is 40.”
Having a midlife crisis is on par for Jax right now. He has a failing marriage, his anniversary is coming up, and he will turn forty-five in July.
On The Bright Side…
Maybe things are not exactly where Jax Taylor would have wanted them to be at this age personally. However, professionally, he is doing quite well. The Valley did amazing in the ratings and was renewed for a second season. Plus, his bar, Jax’s Studio City seems to be on a high. Recently, he teamed up with Tom Schwartz to do a bar crawl and it sold out in a very short time. Hopefully, he can find his happiness sooner rather than later.
