Jax Taylor Admittedly ‘Butt-Hurt’ About Lisa Choosing James & Stassi
The former Vanderpump Rules star once worked alongside Lisa, James, and Stassi. However, he said that his old boss Lisa Vanderpump once told him that he was the most interesting.
“Really? I’m a little upset because [Lisa] used to tell me that I was the most interesting,” Jax Taylor said on his “When Reality Hits” podcast. “She’s like, ‘You are reality TV gold.’ I’m a little taken aback but I’m also not surprised. Lisa just kinda – she’s Lisa.”
He continued, saying that he was “taken aback” by her comments about James and Stassi, and claiming that he’s had some “one-on-ones” with Lisa. “She has to say certain things,” Jax said. “I feel like deep down I’m her favorite. I will always be the number one guy in the group.”
To top it off, Jax also said he doesn’t understand what makes James and Stassi so “interesting.” According to him, they’re just “normal people.”
“I don’t think they’ve done anything to say why they’re interesting,” he continued. “Why are they? Give me examples … I’m butt-hurt.”
Brittany Cartwright & Jax Open Up About His Arrest In Hawaii
Eventually, Jax Taylor moved on to another subject that has been on people’s minds recently. The reality TV star, who is now on The Valley, spoke out about his mugshot in Hawaii. He was taken into custody after stealing a pair of expensive sunglasses.
Jax talked about the story behind the mugshot along with his estranged wife Brittany Cartwright. “My TMZ mugshot was not that good,” he said. Then, Brittany further explained the incident.
She said that Jax was arrested while they were on a cast trip. The production team permitted the cast members to stay in Hawaii for a few additional days after filming wrapped up.
“And now that is not allowed anymore because of this Hawaii trip,” Brittany revealed. “Like if we do a group trip, we have to come straight home because of what Jax did.”
Then, she shared that Jax gifted her the sunglasses, which were the first brand-name present she’d ever received. When the officers arrived and handcuffed Jax Taylor, she was confused.
“That was the most terrifying thing. I had no idea what was happening,” she recalled. “Jax looks at me and turns around as he’s being walked out by the freaking police officers and says, ‘Don’t tell anybody.’”
Jax admitted that he had a “severe diva mentality” around that time. He felt like he couldn’t do anything wrong. He remembered going to the ATM so that he could buy the sunglasses for Brittany, but the line was too long. So, he shrugged it off and decided to steal them instead.
Brittany Cartwright was understandably upset, but she kept to herself about what happened because Jax Taylor told her not to tell anyone.
