Vanderpump Rules’ Tom Schwartz Reveals Worst Part of Divorce From Katie Maloney, Marriage Regrets, and Talks “Subconsciously” Crushing on Lala Kent, Plus If He’s Considering Moving In With Tom Sandoval
Tom Schwartz opened up about the worst part of his divorce from Katie Maloney and shared the regrets he has from their marriage while appearing on a podcast recently
As he also addressed fans’ suspicions that he’s secretly crushing on Lala Kent, 33, and confirmed if he’s considering moving in with Tom Sandoval, 41, the 40-year-old Vanderpump Rules cast member revealed the hardest aspect of his 2022 split from Katie, 37.
“I think maybe the worst part was having your dream home and then having to go back to renting again,” Schwartz revealed on the July 2 episode of Zack Peter and Jeff Epstein‘s Disaster Daters.
Looking back on his marriage to Katie, Schwartz admitted that he could’ve done better.
“Just validating feelings more often. And being a better listener,” he stated. “Letting [Katie] vent more often without me judging, or me trying to provide a solution too fast, you know what I mean? Like, trying to be too logical.”
Moving on to his potential crush on Lala, Schwartz admitted that she may have caught his eye when she first joined the Pump Rules cast during season four.
“Maybe when she first came onto the scene, like subconsciously. And she was just such a character,” he explained, “but nothing I ever wanted to act on or I wasn’t like, lusting. You know, I could appreciate her, not just her beauty, but also her spunk — spark, yeah, her pizzaz… I think [fans] are reaching.”
Schwartz was then asked if he was still thinking of becoming roommates with Sandoval, who posed the idea during the series’ 11th season after his split from Ariana Madix, 38.
“I mean, it’s still on the table. If you had made me decide right now, I would probably lean towards no, but… I think I need my own space,” he replied.
Vanderpump Rules is on pause ahead of season 12.
