Jax Taylor claims estranged wife Brittany Cartwright has ‘been sleeping with’ someone for ‘4 months’ in since-deleted tweet
Jax Taylor claims his estranged wife, Brittany Cartwright, has “been sleeping with” someone else since announcing their separation.
In the predawn hours of Wednesday, the “Valley” star tweeted — and quickly deleted — a post with the claim, which was screenshot and reposted by several fan accounts.
“you may want to ask brittany who she’s been sleeping with for the past 4 months….” Taylor wrote before scrubbing the allegation from his X account.
“I truly hope he’s the hottest MF on this planet. Good for her. You really think you did something here,” one of many critics replied.
Unfortunately for the “Vanderpump Rules” alum, the post was up for long enough for netizens to chime in.
“I truly hope he’s the hottest MF on this planet. Good for her. You really think you did something here @mrjaxtaylor 🥴,” one person replied, as another exclaimed, “Thank GAWD it’s not you! 🙌🏼🙌🏼.”
“Not a single person looks at your situation and doesn’t recognize the problem. You need to find some self awareness,” someone else remarked, while a fourth critic added, “Why would you be treating your wife and mother of your son like this on a public forum? Do fame and TV mean that much to you to air your dirty laundry for all the world to see? Disgusting.”
Yet another dissenter commented, “Well he wasn’t sleeping with her!!!!! What does he expect! I guess he doesn’t like the turned tables.”
Reps for the estranged couple did not immediately return Page Six’s requests for comment.
Less than a week before Taylor ominously claimed that Cartwright had moved on, he told their joint podcast listeners that they were “open to dating other people.”
Cartwright, for her part, announced the pair’s separation at the end of February after almost five years of marriage.
“Marriages in general are very hard, and I’ve had a particularly rough year this past year,” she said at the time in an episode of their podcast.
“Jax and I are taking time apart, and I made the decision to move into another home to take some space for the sake of my mental health.”
The Kentucky native — who shares 3-year-old son Cruz with Taylor — did not “get into too many details” because it was “still very hard to talk about.”
Since then, fans have watched the deterioration of the duo’s marriage on Season 1 of “The Valley,” during which Cartwright revealed that she and Taylor had sex “twice in the past year” leading up to their split.
“We’ve been together nine years, and people stop appreciating and take you for granted after some time — and that should never happen in a marriage,” she elaborated in a conversation with Page Six.
The Bravolebrity went on to refer to Taylor, 44, as her second “toddler,” claiming that she does “everything” for their child.
Cartwright, 35, has also said that she and the former model fought “a lot” when she “was making more money” than him.
However, she reached her “breaking point” one morning after a perpetually hungover and “mean” Taylor screamed at her “for hours.”
“Just imagine what I’ve been through behind closed doors,” Cartwright later told her Instagram followers.
Meanwhile, Taylor’s former “Vanderpump Rules” co-stars said they’d “heard” rumblings that he was cheating on Cartwright, which he has done in the past, during their marriage.
In a roundabout way, Taylor denied the accusation.
Late last month, the bar co-owner was caught getting cozy with a mystery woman just one day before he was photographed on a lunch date with a model named Paige Woolen.
It’s unclear whether the unidentified lady was Woolen; however, Taylor quickly denied the romance rumors, telling his X followers, “I am not dating anyone and I wish you all knew the full story of this situation.. its not what you think. 😔.”
