Ariana Madix Faces Criticism for Mocking Tom Cheating on Kristen in Resurfaced ‘WWHL’ Clip as Vanderpump Rules Fans Suggest “Karma” & Call Out Double Standards
Ariana Madix is getting called out on Instagram for the reaction she had to Tom Sandoval cheating on Kristen Doute on a years-old episode of Watch What Happens Live.
After the resurfaced clip was shared of Ariana, 38, and Sandoval, 41, appearing alongside one another on Andy Cohen‘s late-night talk show, where Andy questioned them about Sandoval’s past cheating, fans suggested Sandoval’s affair with Rachel “Raquel” Leviss, 29, was “karma” and accused her of “double standards.”
Following a question from a fan, who said, “Once a cheater always a cheater,” Sandoval downplayed the “kiss” he and Ariana shared amid his years-long romance with Kristen, 41.
“Oh my God, I’ve never heard that before,” Sandoval sarcastically began his reply, as seen in the clip shared by The Bravo Objective on Instagram.
Then, when Andy asked why Ariana should believe he won’t cheat on her like he did Kristen, Sandoval began to stutter.
“First of all, I just, I mean, I don’t. I’m sorry,” Sandoval shared.
“You’re not gonna cheat on her?” Andy asked.
“No, of course not. No,” Sandoval insisted.
“You cheated on Kristen,” Andy noted.
At that point, Ariana interjected, acting as if Sandoval cheating on Kristen wasn’t a big deal.
“Oh, ohhh,” she voiced. “Wuhhhh…”
According to Sandoval, his actions against Kristen weren’t nearly as bad as her behavior toward him.
“I kissed Ariana, okay? She [f*cked] [Jax Taylor], that’s like the tip of the iceberg. She had affairs with multiple people at SUR, which is common knowledge. Common knowledge. But I never went out of my way to talk badly about Kristen when we were together and nor do I do it since we’ve been broken up because I’ve moved on,” he continued. “I focus on being happy with my life. I don’t focus on my ex. And when I’m with somebody, I don’t make it my job to drag them through the mud like Kristen did.”
Following the sharing of the clip, commenters reacted, many of whom stated that Ariana had gotten her “karma” with “Scandoval.”
“This is classic Ariana. This is her. Everyone supporting this woman…girl she doesn’t give a damn about Tom or other women,” one person wrote.
“Sorry. She don’t give 2 sh*ts about Kristen and as much they’re ok now, it doesn’t change her attitude then. Self-centered as long as she got what she wanted,” another stated.
“I wonder why the other pages don’t show any of this stuff but they keep showing everything about [Lala Kent] when she was younger,” shared a third.
“Karma!!! She thought it was funny then,” someone else noted.
“This is why I have never understood why the universe put this girl on a pedestal. She was totally complicit,” another agreed.
As the comments continued, some slammed Ariana as an “opportunist” with an “agenda” and accused her of always being “awful.”
