Lala Kent is sharing new insights into her dating plans as she anticipates the arrival of her second child.
The Vanderpump Rules star, who is expecting a baby girl, spoke exclusively to The NY Post about her evolving approach to relationships. Lala, 33, who shares a daughter, Ocean, 3, with ex Randall Emmett, has expressed a clear intention to focus on motherhood while remaining open to dating.
“I think that having a baby and finding a partner are separate things,” Kent explained. “I’m excited to date and find my person, but I don’t see these two aspects of my life as linked.”
She added, “Some may call me a weirdo, but I see myself as progressive and smart.”

“I fully intend on enjoying motherhood and everything that comes with it,” she shared. “But I’m not putting dating on the back burner. I’m ready to get back out there after baby S comes.”
Kent is also contemplating the future of her family. “Who knows, I might go out and think, ‘I want a third baby,’” she said. “I let the Universe guide me these days.”
Fans will have the chance to follow Lala’s journey on her new show, “Mama’s Still Got It: Prepping for Baby,” which is streaming on Amazon Prime’s Fast Channel and Freevee. Kent described the show as an opportunity to showcase her personal life and preparations for her new arrival.
“This pregnancy, I feel extremely feminine and sexy,” Lala noted. “I’m thrilled that Amazon and the new Fast channel exist because it allows me to share my experiences and the journey with Baby S and Ocean.”
The show will feature appearances from familiar faces, including Kristina Kelly and The Valley star Michelle Lally.
Lala also expressed interest in seeing fellow “Vanderpump Rules” star James Kennedy as a father, joking about his girlfriend Ally Lewber’s potential diaper duties.
“I’d love to see Ally changing diapers,” Kent said with a laugh. “I think James might be better at it, but I’d love to see Ally give it a try!
