Hulu has renewed Vanderpump Villa for a second season with a new addition to the hit series, and it’s time to share facts about the upcoming installment. The show focused on Lisa Vanderpump and her staff as they worked, loved, and played in her château in the South of France. Vanderpump Villa season 1 debuted on Hulu in April, with 10 episodes followed by a reunion. It presented a diverse group of employees, capturing their experiences as they tried to balance their personal lives with their work.

The opulent French villa’s staff members catered to some of her wealthy visitors. However, they often got caught up in romances and rivalries. The Vanderpump Rules spinoff, Vanderpump Villa season 1 had an incredible reception, and there was no doubt that Hulu would renew it for a second season. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa will still be the host and the face of this show.

On Friday, August 9, Hulu announced that Vanderpump Villa has been renewed for a second season. There is a high likelihood that season 2 will have the same format as Vanderpump Villa season 1. Vanderpump Villa Season 2 Potential Cast

When announcing that Vanderpump Villa season 2 would be coming, Hulu confirmed that Stassi Schroeder would join the Vanderpump Villa cast. Stassi previously appeared in Vanderpump Rules and was fired for racial misconduct. She was the breakout star when Vanderpump Rules dropped in 2013, thanks to her volatile relationship with her then-boyfriend, Jax Taylor. The Bravo alum also came under fire for her “All Lives Matter” remarks. She later appeared on Tamron Hall’s show to state that she had educated herself more on racial matters. Lisa also shared a video on her Instagram page welcoming Stassi back.

“Well, hello there, I want to welcome you back to Vanderpump Villa season 2. Now, I am sitting here and I’m thinking, what should I put on the menu. Any ideas?”

The video panned to Stassi, who responded:

“Lisa, obviously, goat cheese boss.”

Lisa then said:

“Excellent idea, cheers! Welcome back darling.”

Stassi started as a waitress during the early seasons of Vanderpump Rules. The goat cheese boss phrase comes from her favorite appetizer, which she loved while working at the restaurant. According to Variety, Stassi also signed a deal with Hulu whereby she will develop her half-hour docuseries, Stassi Says.

Besides Stassi joining her former boss for Vanderpump Villa season 2, season 1 cast members might also return when it premieres. The first season had an interesting group. It included Anthony Bar, Priscila Ferrari, Gabriella Sanon, Stephen Alsvig, Marciano Brunette, Grace Cottrell, Hannah Fouch, Telly Hall, Eric Funderwhite, Andre Mitchell, Caroline Byl and Emily Kovacs.

When Will Vanderpump Villa Season 2 Start Filming?

Hulu hasn’t yet shared other specific details about Vanderpump Villa‘s location and when it will premiere. However, there is a likelihood that filming might have started on July 26, 2024. Vanderpump Villa was looking for chefs and line cooks to join the cast on April 21. Other than looking for hospitality employees, the production team was also searching for guests.

The casting call indicated that guests of all genders and ethnicities were welcome to apply as long as they were over 21 years old. They were specifically interested in individuals ready to celebrate important occasions, including bachelorette parties, weddings, anniversaries, or divorce parties. Hence, there will be a lot of interesting aspects when Vanderpump Villa season 2 premieres, which will be in early 2025.
