Days after Brittany Cartwright filed to end her marriage to Jax Taylor, she is shading her soon-to-be ex on social media.
Brittany Cartwright Says She Is In Her ‘Self Love Era’ Amid Jax Taylor Divorce
Brittany is not lying low amid her not-so-shocking split. Instead, the former Vanderpump Rules star is showing off several self-pleasure toys by Bellesa Boutique on her Instagram page.
In the caption, she took the opportunity to jab at her ex.
“POV: in my self-love era. I’ve always done everything on my own, so I’m not going to stop now,” she wrote.
She went on to reveal, “10/10 recommend a toyfriend 😌. Sexual wellness is an essential part of self-love and every woman (and every single mom!) deserves to feel that.”
Fans quickly took to the comments to praise Brittany’s post.
“This might be the best ad I’ve seen,” wrote one fan.
While her The Valley co-star Nia Sanchez added simply, “Best caption.”
Brittany’s Jabbing Post Comes As Jax Makes Major Reveal
While Brittany is promoting her “self-love era,” Jax is making headlines for an entirely different reason.
In July, Jax revealed he was entering an in-patient mental health facility. He left in August to resume filming Season 2 of The Valley.
Following his exit from treatment, Jax took to Instagram to share that he had been diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder and PTSD.
Jax told TMZ that since he arrived back home, he had found a sense of peace by spending time with his and Brittany’s 3-year-old son Cruz and working out.
The former SURver then thanked fans for showing their support and sharing their own mental struggles.
Brittany Cartwright And Jax Taylor Awkwardly Resume Filming Season 2 Of The Valley
Brittany, who married Jax on Vanderpump Rules in 2019, filed to end their marriage in late August. Jax was actually served papers while cameras rolled on the sophomore season of The Valley.
In her papers, she used the standard “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split and listed the date of separation as Jan. 24, 2024.
The Kentucky native also requested full legal and physical custody of Cruz but agreed with allowing Jax visitation rights.

Brittany addressed her decision to file for divorce on her and Jax’s podcast When Reality Hits.
Appearing to hold back tears, Brittany explained that her decision took her “many many years” and it was “very difficult.”
She also clarified that she considers herself “stronger than ever” and that Cruz deserves a “happy and healthy mommy.”
