Scheana Shay Reveals Jax Taylor is Selling Brittany Cartwright and Son Cruz’s Belongings on eBay!
Vanderpump Rules star Scheana Shay has opened up about Jax Taylor’s recent bipolar diagnosis and suggested there may be more to his decision to seek in-patient treatment than meets the eye.
During a recent episode of her Scheananigans podcast, Scheana also claimed that Jax has been selling some of his wife Brittany Cartwright’s and their son Cruz’s belongings on eBay for less than $30.
On her podcast, Scheana shared that she recently filmed with the couple and confirmed that the two were still not on speaking terms. “When we filmed together, they weren’t talking at all,” Scheana revealed.
During the episode, Scheana’s co-host asked if she had empathy for Jax or had reached out to him since his diagnosis. Her response was cryptic: “Look, if that was the only reason he sought treatment, yes.” While Scheana didn’t elaborate on what she meant, her comment hinted that there might be more to the story behind Jax’s decision to seek help.
Scheana also confirmed that Jax has been selling personal items on eBay, some of which belong to his wife and son. When asked if she had seen the listings, Scheana responded, “He does. Janet [Caperna] showed me it.” She then explained that she and her friend did a deep dive into Jax’s eBay account.
“He’ll sell things like tumblers, and stuff with logos like ‘Hulu’ or whatever. It’s wild,” Scheana shared. She went on to say, “He was selling Brittany’s tote bags from her [Jenny Craig] brand ambassadorship. I think some of Cruz’s old stuff, too. I know he was selling items for less than 30 dollars.”
Shay expressed concern for both Taylor and Cartwright as they navigate their separation and co-parenting.
“I hope that he is on the right meds, in the right therapy, and just doing what’s best for himself and his kid,” Scheana said, noting that while Jax and Brittany are “done,” she hopes Brittany can find peace.
“I don’t want her to have to deal with crazy Jax and fight for custody,” she continued. Scheana then compared Brittany’s situation to that of fellow Vanderpump Rules co-star Lala Kent, who has been embroiled in a lengthy custody battle with her ex, Randall Emmett. “I’ve seen Lala go through this for over three years,” she added.
The Valley, which follows several stars who previously appeared on Vanderpump Rules, is currently filming its latest season.
Scheana, who continues to star on Vanderpump Rules, confirmed that she is also filming for The Valley as the two shows overlap in cast and content.
