Kristen Doute Doesn’t ‘Need’ Lala Kent’s ‘Conditional’ Friendship

Kristen Doute doesn’t have time to be in one-sided friendships with anybody. And if your name is Lala Kent… the door is closed.

Kristen said Lala stopped talking to her over somebody else’s actions

On a recent episode of The Viall Files podcast, Kristen said she and Lala fell out a little while ago. The Valley star recounted how Lala cut her off after Golnesa “GG” Charachedaghi seemingly shaded her at a different event. Apparently, the Shahs of Sunset queen brought up Lala’s co-parenting situation with her ex, Randall Emmett, and Kristen was as silent as a church mouse.

As she explained, Kristen said the Vanderpump Rules alum “stopped speaking to me.” She continued, saying she found out “per Brittany Cartwright that Lala says I am dead to her.”

“I tried reaching out to her and never spoke to her.”

Later, Kristen said that Lala did connect with her after she shared she suffered a miscarriage with her boyfriend, Luke Broderick.

“She sent me a text after the pregnancy loss,” she said. “A while later, I realize I have these DMs from GG, so I engage. We are both being nice to each other but I said, ‘I didn’t like the way that went down. You and I have never gotten along. I probably should have said something, but I didn’t want to get involved.’”

Kristen revealed she sent the messages to Lala to show her loyalty, but Lala expressed how she “didn’t give a sh*t.”

Reason, Season, or a Lifetime

Kristen found Lala’s response to be too much, so she texted her, saying she thought their friendship had expired.

“Some people are meant to be friends for a season or a reason or a lifetime,” she wrote Lala. “And I think you and I are friends for a season.”

“And she goes, ‘Great.’ That was it”

It seems like Kristen has been living her best life since moving on. “I don’t need that in my life. I feel like friendships with Lala come with so many conditions. It is so conditional. If you do this, then you are on her good side.”

I think Kristen has a point. If you watched Seasons 10 and 11 of VPR, you’d notice it, too.
