Earlier this year, Prince William and Princess Kate celebrated 13 years of marriage, prompting fans to reflect on their dynamic and the highlights of their two decades together.
Since their marriage, the couple has taken on a number of serious duties and responsibilities associated with the monarchy, most notably becoming Prince and Princess of Wales in 2022. However, they have also demonstrated that they have a playful side. A new popular TikTok video has uncovered a portion of the funny moments where Kate has energetically prodded her better half during official appearances, making him blush and grin or at times draw back in mock frightfulness.
A compilation of clips from the previous 10 years, uploaded to TikTok on July 21st by user @kittywallace, has shown a number of instances in which Kate has kept William on his toes. Whether it was by trying out adventurous local cuisine during royal tours or by holding an exotic spider during a college visit, William politely declined, being well-known for not being adventurous with food or spices. Kate accepted the offer while making fun of her husband by telling the locals, “I’m somewhat more audacious than William.”
“If it’s not too much trouble, might I at any point hold the tarantula?” the princess questioned the manager of a mobile petting zoo. William, surprised, hesitated before encouraging her to go on and looked at her. After that, William said that the couple’s three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, wouldn’t believe they were holding a snake. Another person commented, “Such a beautiful down-to-earth couple who clearly love and respect each other. He lives up to his upbringing as a royal child in every way, not negatively. It’s hilarious to see how daring Kate is in comparison to him.”
Since the princess withdrew from the public eye in January due to health issues, the relationship between William and Kate has attracted a great amount of attention from the media thus far this year. In March, it was made public that she had been diagnosed with cancer. After releasing a positive health update, Kate made her first official public appearance of the year in June at the Trooping the Colour celebrations in London. The princess stated that she intended to make additional appearances throughout the summer while receiving chemotherapy treatment.
The couple is profoundly keen on emotional well-being. In fact, it was recently made public that they had both contributed directly to a project that aims to improve the mental health of rural residents. This announcement comes after Prince William received an incredible income of $30 million for the fiscal year 2023-2024. The Duchy of Cornwall estate, which he inherited from King Charles III, provided him with the income. For the first full year in its integrated annual report, which was made available to the public on Wednesday, the estate revealed a startling surplus of $3.4 million for the FY 2023-2024. He got the title of Duke of Cornwall, notwithstanding a luxurious estate.
